Welcome to the 1st Islington Scout Group

We are a medium sized group based in the old London Borough of Finsbury. We have 4 sections within our group.

Our sections are Beavers (6 years - 8 years), Cubs (8 years - 10 1/2 years), Scouts (10 1/2 years - 14 years) and Explorers (14 years - 18 years).

We are currently doing a range of Fundraising activities. One of out activities are with our range of Fundraising Quizes. Further information on these can be found by clicking the link on the left hand side to our Fundraising Quizes page.

OUR GUESTBOOK IS NOW BACK UP AND RUNNING. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO USE IT TO LEAVE YOUR MESSAGES AND COMMENTS ABOUT OUR SITE.

Our Group is going paperless!!! There has been a letter given out to all members of the group to gather email addresses so we can send letters out via email and save paper, trees and the environment in general. Letters that have been sent out via email will also be available on the website via a username and password. This will be circulated to all people via email and may change periodically to maintain security of information that will be available on here. Keep a check on your inboxes as you may receive these details sooner than you think!!

This site is being enhanced all the time and we are hoping to get a newsletter going (available via the members section) and get the photo gallery restarted again and allow members to upload images to the gallery themselves. However the gallery members will have to be approved by the site administrators before this can happen.
